How to choose

• Casemates Square is the easiest first stop after crossing the border: terraces, pubs and quick meals in one place.
• Main Street and its side lanes hold the traditional pubs; the marinas at Ocean Village and Queensway Quay are the sea-view option.
• Prices are in pounds; euros are often accepted but at a shop rate. Kitchens tend to close earlier than in Spain, so plan dinner earlier than you would in La Línea.
• Each card opens a live Google Maps search, so you always see what is currently open near you rather than an outdated list.
